Naziya is qualified lawyer and a Chartered Accountant by profession. She has also undergone certification in Registered Valuer course on Financial Securities conducted by ICMAI. She had spent almost a decade at global consultancy firms (PwC, KPMG, Mazars), wherein she had the opportunity to be of service to various large MNCs.
She is self-driven, highly passionate individual and works with a motto of delivering her best at every assignment meeting her client’s expectations. She has her niche in dealing with Indian Tax and Regulatory matters.
She has also been contributing to the fraternity by being speaker on FEMA topics at reputed forums like Bombay Chartered Accountant Society, Western India Regional Council’s CPE Study Circles and writing articles for Taxsutra. She has also assisted in reviewing ICAI’s publication titled ‘Cross Border Transactions and Investments’ July 2019 edition.

- Obtaining Prepaid Payment Instrument License for one of the Unicorn Start-ups
- Obtained NBFC license for a leading tractor manufacturing company in India
- Assisted in obtaining NBFC P2P license for one of the initial P2P players in the industry
- Advised MNCs on structuring cross-border transactions related to foreign investments into India, overseas investments, trade transactions, external commercial borrowings etc in compliance with Indian Foreign Exchange Control Regulations
- Advised MNCs on suitable form of presence in India such as Project office, Liaison office, Branch office, Wholly Owned Subsidiaries (WOS) or Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) highlighting their tax and regulatory implications
